In November national Diabetes Awareness month, The LDA will focus in the “Fight Against Diabetes” unique diabetes prevention program focusses on the stop the epidemic of diabetes and obesity in our communities. This campaign is geared towards research, prevention and promoting early detection of diabetes; All participants are given lifesaving A1C test and comprehensive diabetes prevention and self-management education by Doctors, Endocrinologist, nurses Certified Diabetes Educators and other health care professionals.
