LDA welcomes Fernanda, Alvin, and Nathalia, USC students working on a Photovoice Project for Minority Health Issues, which focuses on a community affected by a health disparity. They aim to bring awareness and encompass the Latino community’s journey with diabetes. In doing this, they hope to educate their peers about real-life community experiences and the work that the Latino Diabetes Association has done supporting patients and their families.
